How are individuals or organizations nominated for an award?
The objective of Somerset County Tourism’s Salute to Tourism Awards Program is to recognize excellence in the tourism, hospitality and service industries by selecting and publicly recognizing those who have provided superior product(s) and/or service(s) to the millions of visitors to Somerset County each year.
Votes will be accepted via the online ballot below through October 18, 2013. There will be signage and ballot submission information at multiple high-traffic locations around the County. Your votes pay tribute to front line tourism staff and organizations that set the bar for the Somerset County Tourism industry.
The selection committee is comprised of fellow New Jersey Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO), who will review the ballots in late October and choose the most compelling nominations.
Winners will be selected and publicly recognized as recipients of a Somerset County Tourism Salute to Tourism Award at our Annual Fundraising Event scheduled for November 7th 2013. More information on this event can be found here.
Nominations for the 2013 Salute to Tourism Awards are now closed.
Thanks to all who participated in this process.
We look forward to receiving your 2014 nominations.
